Back in February 2020 we launched our little company with nearly 80 of you in celebration, but there was no sign then what would unfold. We are pleased to announce some of our readjusted 2021 plans. Thanks so much for your continued support. Take care everyone and keep being kind,
The Fourth Wall Team

Back by popular demand our first play is Slut by Patricia Cornelius.
After winning 15 awards on the 2018 Victorian OAP festival circuit, this powerful production returns! We follow five school friends as they navigate life & its challenges. We see the rise & fall of their idol Lolita in the most tragic of circumstances. Exploring themes of female friendship, adoration, oversexualisation of our young girls, peer pressure, jealousy, slut shaming, toxic gossip and domestic violence, this hard hitting, evocative show is guaranteed to create conversation. Jen steps in as a new chorus member, but we know Jacki is supporting us wholeheartedly from the sidelines.
Content note: rape, domestic violence
Cast - Casey Bohan, Jen Bush, Malaynee Hayden, Julia Lambert and Reschelle O’Connor as Lolita
Matching the fire and urgency of play 1, our second play is based on the life experience of creative artist Sancia Robinson that was devised into a one woman show with Wendy Harmer in 1996 & revised in 2014. It takes the audience into the painful reality, guilt, shame & obsession of a woman who has an eating disorder & bravely striving for healing & self acceptance. Our production will reinterpret this powerfully intense yet darkly comic story of self destruction as a group ensemble to exemplify the range of people that this mental illness still sadly affects, & to show this is more than just about the body, it is about the mind, and that recovery is possible.
Content note: eating disorders.

“Participation in the creative processes of theatre is the best way to reveal the human being, and through this to understand one’s self and one’s society.”
